Xeomin (incobotulinumtoxinA) is a prescription neurotoxin, one of the wrinkle relaxers our licensed injectors use at Catara Med Spa. Placed in small, precise amounts, it temporarily relaxes the specific muscles that crease the skin when you frown, raise your brows, or squint, so the lines those muscles create look smoother. Over the following months, the muscles gradually regain their movement, which is why results are temporary.

Every Xeomin visit starts with a conversation. One of our licensed injectors asks about your goals and your health history, confirms whether Xeomin is a good fit, and recommends only what makes sense for you. No upselling. No pressure. Catara also requires a medical clearance consult for new clients and once a year after that.

Next, your injector studies your facial expressions and makes light pen marks where each injection will go. Fine needles are used, and your injector can talk you through comfort options before you begin. The injections take about 10 to 15 minutes, and the whole visit usually runs 20 to 30 minutes.

Before you leave, your injector checks the treated areas, answers your questions, and walks you through your aftercare. Most clients go back to work or their normal routine right after. If you need a follow-up visit, we will schedule it with you.

Xeomin results build gradually. Changes usually begin to show in 3 to 5 days, and the full effect is typically in place by 10 to 14 days. Results typically last about 3 to 4 months, after which muscle movement gradually returns and the lines return with it.
